Transforming Leadership Through UMT's DBA Program

Danny Chung (DBA '24) was the Global Head of IT Operations in the world's largest Property & Casualty insurance company, leading a team of elite CIOs and 400 IT professionals across 13 countries. As a seasoned business professional with decades of global leadership experience, he highly recommends the DBA program at the University of Management and Technology (UMT). Dr. Chung has decades of experience in international Merger & Acquisition (M&A). His last M&A project in Asia was a US$5.6 billion acquisition of a life insurance business across six markets in Asia. He relocated to Hong Kong about a decade ago due to an acquisition of a pension business in Hong Kong, where he led the Enterprise Project Management Office and Information Technology functions. His expertise in Project Management is well recognized in the regional insurance industry. Despite his extensive experience, he pursued advanced education through the DBA program at UMT.
