The University of Management and Technology (UMT) is an accredited university
located in Arlington VA. Since 1998, UMT has built a strong global higher learning community through its online and
distance education. Geographical boundaries do not limit UMT and its students, who reside in 50 states, the District of
Columbia, 4 US territories of the United States, and 78 countries. As of today, UMT has provided various levels of
education and training programs to 27083 students. Of these, 16525 have earned their degrees from UMT at the
associate's, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels.
UMT is exempt from SCHEV certification in accordance with §23.1-219 of the Code of Virginia and accredited by the Distance
Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC). UMT is an institutional member of the Council of Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). UMT's degree programs in project management are also accredited by the Global Accreditation Center (GAC) of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and it is an Authorized Training Partner of PMI (PMI ATP).
