| Earn the PMP® or CAPM® Credential
|
UMT is approved by ArmyIgnitED and Air Force COOL to provide training courses that lead to the PMP® or CAPM®
credential for Army and Air Force personnel.
The US Army and Air Force recognize the value of these two credentials in the field of project management, and are investing
in the professional development of their personnel by funding up to $4,000 per fiscal year and $4,500 lifetime respectively,
towards the cost of coursework that leads to these credentials.
UMT is a Project Management Institute (PMI) Authorized Training Partner (ATP) in project management training. UMT's
project management degree and certificate programs are accredited by PMI GAC (Global Accreditation Center).
PMP® is the Project Management Professional® credential. Certified PMPs report earning up
to 25% more than non-certified project professionals.
CAPM® is the credential for project management novices who want to get a start in project management.
These two credentials have been identified as number 1 in the ten in-demand career certifications in 2022. It is estimated
that 1.57 million new jobs in project management will be created each year and qualified practitioners are in demand. With
the PMP® and CAPM® being the most widely recognized and respected project management credentials
in the world, you can distinguish yourself in the job market.
UMT prepares
individuals to take and pass the PMP® or CAPM® credential exams offered by the PMI. In
addition, students
also earn a Professional Certificate in Project Management from UMT. This includes access to PMI's authorized certification prep course,
PMI student membership, a free
copy of PMI's Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (7th ed), and more.
