Certificate in Health Administration

The CHA is designed for individuals already in the healthcare industry or those wishing to enter the healthcare profession, UMT’s Certificate in Health Administration program focuses on enhancing the administrative and management skills specifically required in the healthcare setting. Students explore the world of health services and the vital resources needed for optimum healthcare management and will learn essential knowledge in health administration, such as traits of the US health service system, healthcare law and ethics, epidemiology and community in health, healthcare management, and long-term care management.

  • HA 105 Essential Medical Terminology is a prerequisite for a student who has no educational background in healthcare, or who has not worked in the healthcare field.
