UMT Approved by ArmyIgnitED and Air Force COOL as PMP and CAPM Credential Training Provider
ARLINGTON, Virginia, January 19, 2023
The University of Management and Technology (UMT) is proud to announce that it has been approved by ArmyIgnitED in 2021 (armyignited.army.mil/student) and Air Force COOL in 2022 (afvec.us.af.mil/afvec/af-cool/welcome) to provide training courses that lead to the PMP® or CAPM® credential for Army and Air Force personnel.
The US Army and Air Force recognize the value of these two credentials in the field of project management, and are investing in the professional development of their personnel by funding up to $4,000 per fiscal year and $4,500 lifetime respectively, towards the cost of coursework that leads to these credentials.

PMP® and CAPM® are the most widely recognized and respected project management credentials in the world. They demonstrate a level of knowledge and experience in project management that is highly valued by employers in a variety of industries. It is estimated that 1.57 million new jobs in project management will be created each year and qualified practitioners are in demand.
