UMT Signs the Updated DoD MOU
ARLINGTON, Virginia, August 11, 2014
Per DoD Instruction (DoDI) 1322.25, DoD Directive 1322.08E, and the cognizant Military Service’s policies, regulations, and fiscal constraints, an updated DoD MOU was signed by Dawn Bilodeau, Chief, Voluntary Education Programs, Department of Defense (DoD) and Dr. Yanping Chen, UMT President. This updated DoD MOU came into effect on 10th August 2014 and covers a period of five years. It allows UMT to continue its commitment to supporting the US Armed Forces to use Tuition Assistance (TA) to pay for their voluntary education.
The DoD MOU covers all US Armed Forces. It includes DoD Education, SOC, the Army (including the National Guard and Reserves); the Navy (including Reserves); the Marine Corps (including Reserves; and the Air Force (including the Air National Guard and Reserves).
