ARLINGTON, Virginia, June 25, 2010
The University of Management and Technology held its commencement ceremony on June 19, 2010 at the Rosslyn Spectrum in Arlington, VA. More than 200 graduates, family and friends from the US and overseas attended. During the ceremony, graduate representatives, Dr. Bryan Stambaugh and Mr. John Shen Lin, shared their memorable experiences at UMT with the audience.
In his speech, Dr. J. Davidson Frame, UMT Academic Dean, exhorted the UMT graduates to treat their graduations as the commencement of a new journey to strengthen themselves and to serve their families, organizations, and society.
At the conclusion of the ceremony and reception, the graduates gathered at the nearby Iwo Jima memorial for a group photograph.
All past UMT graduates are cordially invited to attend UMT’s next commencement ceremony, the details of which will be released in the near future.
From January 2008 until May 2010, UMT awarded 2,764 degrees at the associate, bachelor, master and doctoral levels.
