Businesses today face threats to their operations and possibly their very existence coming from malicious attacks on their computer systems. They need to prevent a wide array of threats such as denial of service, hijacking, phishing, Trojan horses and direct attacks designed to fully disable the business''s computer capabilities. This course provides students with a solid knowledge in countermeasures such as cryptography, secure networks, access control, firewalls, host hardening, application security and data protection.
