This course for managers provides a practical overview of basic principles for effective communications. The course covers topics in the areas of: communication models; barriers to communications; verbal vs. nonverbal communications; formal vs. informal communications; writing reports; making presentation; and conducting meetings. The course provides students with practical exercises in effective communication.


To help project workers develop "soft" skills that will enable them to deal effectively with customers, coworkers, managers, vendors, and anyone else who they encounter during the course of their project efforts.
