The Executive Certificate in Criminal Justice will provide the student with the higher level capabilities to function as a practitioner in a constantly evolving and ever-changing field of criminal justice and law enforcement. Topics that are provided will educate students in the most important areas of the Criminal Justice System, to include the functions of the Police, the Judicial System and Community Corrections. Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to demonstrate capabilities that are crucial to a successful career in Criminal Justice, such as advanced studies of the Criminal Justice System, Criminal Law and judicial considerations, modern day Policing, Criminal Justice Leadership as well as Forensic Science in Criminal Investigations.
