CST 500 Computer Architecture Credits: 3
This course introduces the architecture of computer hardware, including storage hierarchies, input-output subsystems, instruction and data level parallelism, symbolic computation, multiprocessor networks and consistency, and performance modeling. The major concepts of operating systems are also studied and the interrelationship between operating systems and architecture is analyzed.
