Below is a summary of UMT's tuition and administrative fees.

Tuition

Tuition per credit hour for Students Receiving the UMT Military Scholarship

Tuition Refund Policy

A student may request cancellation by phone, fax, email, or mail. The refund is calculated based on the postmarked date that a student’s cancellation is mailed or the date that an email, fax or phone request is received by UMT. Students also may submit cancellation requests in person at UMT’s administrative offices during normal business hours (Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time).

Cancellation within Five Days: A student may cancel a course enrollment within five calendar days after midnight of the day on which the registration form is signed or submitted electronically and receive a full refund minus a $50 fee to cover administrative costs.

Cancellation after Five Days: If a student requests cancellation after the above five days, UMT shall refund the proportion of the tuition paid, according to the following schedule:

* For international students with F-1 or J-1 visa, the first-year-program tuition is non-refundable.

Refund Payment: Refund payment will be made within 30 days from the cancellation date.

Pre-Payment Guidelines

A degree student at the University of Management and Technology may, in accordance with UMT policy, pay for the entire degree program in advance.

An international student admitted into program and issued I-20 for F-1 visa or DS-2019 for J-1 visa is required to prepay one academic year full-time tuition.

If, for reasons, student has prepaid tuition and does not complete the academic program, tuition for the prepaid courses not taken will be refunded to the party who paid for the coursework (the Payer). The following are guidelines for prepayment of tuition at the University of Management and Technology:

  1. The tuition rate will reflect the tuition price at the time of the prepayment, and will not change if the tuition rate increases during the student’s degree program.
  2. In the event that a student who prepays for a degree program does not complete the program, the Payer will be refunded for courses that have not been completed, in accordance with UMT’s tuition refund policy stated above.
  3. The dollar amount remitted to the Payer will correspond to the tuition rates in effect at the time of prepayment.
