Associate of Science in Information Technology (ASIT)
The ASIT offers courses for students who are high school graduates or have passed the General Educational Development (GED) test, and who perhaps have completed some courses either at an appropriately accredited college or in the armed forces.
UMT expects students enrolled in the ASIT program to complete a comprehensive associate's degree, consistent with other degree programs offer by the University: The program must include a minimum of 60 semester credit-hours of which at least 15 hours (25%) may be classified as general education. Students in the ASIT program are provided an individualized learning plan (ILP) that lists all the courses that they are required to complete to earn the degree.
