The Project Management Institute Educational Foundation (PMIEF) announces the recipients of PMIEF-UMT Annual Full Scholarship

ARLINGTON, Virginia, October 16, 2009 – The Project Management Institute Educational Foundation (PMIEF) announced the recipients of the PMIEF-UMT Annual Full Scholarship at the PMI North America Congress held at Kissimmee, FL this month.

Mr. Paul Gustafson is the recipient of the scholarship for the Doctor of Business Administration program while Ms. Stephanie Bowman has been awarded the scholarship for the MS in Information Technology Project Management program. Further, Ms. Nancy Summer has been sponsored by PMI Information System SIG to enroll in UMT’s MS in Information Technology Project Management program using the PMIEF-IS SIG scholarship.

The PMIEF will award 50 partial PMIEF-UMT scholarships towards UMT’s bachelor’s or master’s degree programs in the academic year 2009-2010 on a rolling basis.

At the Congress, the PMIEF held a reception to thank the donors for their support towards its mission and the Project Management profession. UMT was recognized as one of two Visionary Level Donors that donated more than one million US dollars to the PMIEF.
