UMT Wins 5-year Contract Award from DCMA to Provide Training Programs for Developing Managers

ARLINGTON, Virginia, October 1, 2008 – The University of Management and Technology has been awarded a 5-year contract by the U.S. Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) as the sole provider of Training Programs for Developing Managers.

The DCMA Training Programs for Developing Managers was established in 1990s as part of a glass-ceiling initiative aimed to improve the status of minority women representatives at DoD. In the past, the program has successfully helped program attendees gain promotions and move on to executive positions.

Designed by UMT’s subject matter experts, the UMT-DCMA program is aimed to develop future leaders for the DCMA. The first-year program will commence in March 2009.
