UMT Approved by Air University Associate-to-Bachelor Cooperative Program
ARLINGTON,
Virginia, October 1, 2007 – UMT
has been approved by Air University to
participate in the Associate-to-Baccalaureate
Cooperative (AU-ABC) Program and is listed
in the Air Force Automated Education Management
System (AFAEMS). This means that successful
completion of any of the CCAF AAS degrees
guarantees the airman 60 semester credit-hours
transfer credits towards a UMT bachelor's
degree, of which at least 15 will count as
general education.
Dr. C. Eric Kirkland, who
led the UMT’s
effort of becoming an AU-ABC partner school
said, “We are pleased to work with
the [AU-ABC] program to help our Air Force
students complete their undergraduate education.”
UMT
accepts applicants from A.A.S. programs into
the following accredited degree programs:
These
programs are fully online, four-year degree programs.
Each requires
completion
of 120 semester credit-hours, including at
least 30 credit-hours that may be classified
as general education. Air University graduates
are guaranteed 60 transfer credit-hours,
including 15 general education credit-hours.
