UMT to
Conduct Summer 2000 Commencement on July 1
ARLINGTON, VA, 22 June
2000 - The University of Management
and Technology will conduct its Summer 2000;
graduation
ceremony
on Saturday,
July 1.
"We're very pleased to be graduating this
class," said UMT Academic Dean J. Davidson
Frame. "The students have worked extremely
hard over the past two years. This will be the
first of many commencements for this exciting
venture."
Commencement will be held on July 1 beginning
at 9:30 a.m. in the Cardinal Room at the Best
Western Key Bridge, 1850 North Fort Myer Drive,
Arlington. A reception will follow the ceremony.
UMT, a for-profit graduate school, began operations
in 1998. The university offers MS in Management
and MBA programs at its Arlington campus and
through distance education.
UMT also offers Professional Development Programs
(PDPs), training programs, and consulting services.
During the past two years, the university has
initiated educational programs in China in cooperation
with local partners.
UMT's main focus is on project management, an
increasingly important field for the public and
private sectors. Dr. Frame has taught more than
20,000 project managers world wide over the years.
