ARLINGTON, VA, 22 June 2000 - The University of Management and Technology will conduct its Summer 2000; graduation ceremony on Saturday, July 1.

"We're very pleased to be graduating this class," said UMT Academic Dean J. Davidson Frame. "The students have worked extremely hard over the past two years. This will be the first of many commencements for this exciting venture."

Commencement will be held on July 1 beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the Cardinal Room at the Best Western Key Bridge, 1850 North Fort Myer Drive, Arlington. A reception will follow the ceremony.

UMT, a for-profit graduate school, began operations in 1998. The university offers MS in Management and MBA programs at its Arlington campus and through distance education.

UMT also offers Professional Development Programs (PDPs), training programs, and consulting services. During the past two years, the university has initiated educational programs in China in cooperation with local partners.

UMT's main focus is on project management, an increasingly important field for the public and private sectors. Dr. Frame has taught more than 20,000 project managers world wide over the years.
