of Trustees
to help guide the university through its next
stage of development.
UMT welcomes the following trustees to its family:
Dr. William G. Wells. Jr.
Chairman of the Board. Previously, Chief of Staff
of the Office of Science
and Technology Policy, during the Bush administration;
consultant to the President's Science Advisor
during the Bush and Clinton administrations;
Director, Program on Project Management, George
Washington University; Staff Director of subcommittees
of the US House of Representatives Science, Space
and Technology Committee; Manager, Program Plans,
Apollo Program, NASA.
Dr. Harry R. Marshall. Jr.
Senior Legal Advisor, US Department of Justice.
Previously: Vice President,
Martin Marietta International, Inc. (Beijing
and Hong Kong); Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary
of State, Department of State; Senior Attorney-Advisor,
Arms Control and Disarmament Agency.
Dr. Stephen S. Fuller. Professor of Public Policy,
George Mason University. Serves on the Governor's
Advisory Board of Economists for the Commonwealth
of Virginia. President, Economic Reporter, Inc.
Previously: Chairman of the Department of Urban
and Regional Planning, the George Washington
University.
Dr. J. Davidson Frame. Academic Dean, the University
of Management and Technology. Board of Directors,
Project Management Institute (a professional
society with 55,000 members). Previously: Chairman
of the Department of Management Science at George
Washington University, Director of the International
Center for Project Management Excellence at GWU,
and Director of Program on Science, Technology
and Innovation at GWU; Vice President, Computer
Horizons, Inc.
Dr. Yanping Chen. President, the University
of Management and Technology. President, the
Yankee Clipper Group. Previously: International
Fellow, Smithsonian Institution; Director, Office
of Science and Technology Planning and Management,
Institute of Space Medico-Engineering of China;
Executive Director of Chinese Space Medico-Engineering
Professional Association; Executive Director,
Chinese Life Science Professional Association.
(Dr. Chen has both a medical degree and PhD.).
