Defense Acquisition University (DAU)
In 2004, UMT and DAU formed a strategic partnership to promote acquisition management and project management.

Students taking Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification courses can apply these courses, with academic credit, towards one or more of the UMT degree or certificate programs. Please visit the UMT-DAU site for more information.
National Technical Information Service (NTIS)
In 2006, UMT and NTIS formed a partnership to offer online degrees and certificates in project management and acquisition management.
By ordering courses through NTIS, government offices and employees can acquire these courses at substantial discounts. Because the courses offered through the partnership are self-paced online courses, government clients enjoy the benefit of enabling students to study at their convenience. Essentially, this partnership is aligned with NTIS’ mission to provide valuable information to the government and to the public, contributing to the strengthening of the capabilities of public and private enterprises.
