The
University of Management and Technology (UMT) is a
leading university in global education programs. It
carries out programs in Australia, France, Greater
China (including Hong Kong and Taiwan), Poland
and United Kingdom.
UMT's faculty who teach UMT global
programs are educators, scholars and senior business
and government
executives with high academic credentials. They
travel to major cities in various countries where UMT
international
programs are conducted to lecture and tutor foreign
students. While they enjoy their academic interactions
with foreign students, they also appreciate their
own learning experience in different cultures and
friendship received from foreign students and locals.
UMT requires faculty who teaches UMT's global programs
to:
- be able to travel abroad in two to four weeks duration
- understand culture differences
- understand learning behaviors and be familiar
with teaching foreign students.
For assistance in traveling and teaching abroad,
current UMT faculty may contact Dean's office for
detailed information which include:
- tips on traveling to a foreign country
- tips on delivering lectures and tutoring foreign
students
- instructions on how to receive support from the
UMT local staff where UMT international programs
are
presented.
