Academic students may self-register courses at any time online. Please first check the current Semester Course Schedule for dates and times of courses.

Please refer to your Scholastic Online Information System (Sonis) Student Online Access Instruction for information on self-registration.

Payment Options

Students may use UMT's secure Online Payment system to pay for courses with VISA, Master or American Express.

Students may pay by check or money order. NO cash will be accepted. Company vouchers are accepted by prior arrangement. Make all checks payable to: Student Accounts, UMT. All fees and tuition charges are due by the first class, unless prior arrangements are made. A charge of $30 will be assessed on all returned checks. Students registering after the 1st class will be charged a late registration fee of $40, instead of the regular $30 registration fee. See Tuition and Fees for more information.

Tuition Refund Policy

A student may request cancellation by phone, fax, email, or mail. The refund is calculated based on the postmarked date that a student’s cancellation is mailed or the date that an email, fax or phone request is received by UMT. Students also may submit cancellation requests in person at UMT’s administrative offices during normal business hours (Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time).

Cancellation within five days: a student may cancel a course enrollment within five calendar days after midnight of the day on which the registration form is signed or submitted electronically. Cancellation under these conditions results in a full refund.

Cancellation prior to course or semester start: if a student requests cancellation during the period from five calendar days after midnight of the day on which the registration form is signed or submitted electronically and UNTIL the course or semester has begun, UMT will refund tuition and fees less a non-refundable cancellation fee of US $30.

Cancellation after commencement of the course or the semester: if a student requests cancellation after the course or semester has begun, the UMT shall be entitled to keep a non-refundable cancellation fee of US $30 and refund the remaining tuition and fees on the following schedule:
