Students
need to submit a Graduation
Application Form* during
the first week of their last semester of study.
Submission of this form to the registrar at registrar@umtweb.edu triggers
the graduation review process that ultimately results
in the issuance of diplomas to students.
Only
students who have satisfactorily completed all academic
and financial requirements associated
with the program will be considered for graduation.
Official graduations occur in September, December,
March and June. The graduation date on a student’s
diploma corresponds to the date on which he or
she has been approved to graduate.
The university holds its annual
commencement in July. Students who graduated in the
previous summer,
fall, winter and spring semesters are encouraged
to participate in the annual commencement.
Please note that there is a $50 Graduation
Processing Fee. If you plan to attend commencement,
there is also a $75 Commencement Fee. Students may
use UMT's secure Online Payment site to pay for the Graduation
Processing Fee and Commencement
Fee.
