Selecting a Major (Area of Concentration)

Most UMT programs offer areas of concentration rather than "Majors". The "Major" is usually a part of the program (e.g., Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is a Bachelor of Science Degree with a Major in Computer Science.) The "Majors" listed in the application are really concentrations. Most UMT programs require a concentration.

To keep the application simple, the majors are not assigned to their respective degree programs. The list below shows the hierarchical relationships between degree programs and their associated majors.
