UMT has the largest Master of Science in
Management (Project Management) program in
the world
taught by
a team of world renowned faculty. Students
in this 11-course program can focus on majors
such as: Project Management, Acquisition
Management, and General
Management.
Master
of Science in Computer Science (MSCS)
The Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS)
is a technically oriented degree that provides
students with advanced knowledge and skills
to enable them to succeed in the industry.
The program emphasizes both the theoretical
and applied aspects of CS. Students in this 11-course
program can choose from among majors such as:
Computer Science and Software Engineering
Master
of Science in Criminal Justice (MSCJ)
The MSCJ program is designed to meet the needs of students seeking a
master's degree as a prerequisite for entry to the field, as well as
the needs of students who are currently employed in the field and want
to broaden their knowledge, skills, and abilities. This is accomplished
by offering sufficient foundation courses for a student who did not major
in criminal justice at the undergraduate level, as well as sufficient
electives to accommodate students who did.
Master
of Science in Engineering Management (MSEM)
The MSEM program is designed to meet the needs of students seeking a
master's degree as a prerequisite for entry to the field of engineering
management, as well as the needs of students who are currently employed
in the field and want to broaden their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Master
of Science in Information Technology (MSIT)
The Master of Science in Information Technology
(MSIT) program is an interdisciplinary degree that
helps managers in organizations that rely on
IT develop knowledge, skills, and abilities
in the core areas of IT as well as complementary
management knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Students in this 11-course program can choose
among majors such as: IT Project Management,
IT Management, and Management Information Systems.
Master
of Business Administration (MBA)
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program
covers all aspects of managing commercial and
non-profit
organizations
with
emphasis in project management, risk management,
and technology management. Students in this 15-course
(45 credit-hour) program can choose between the
General MBA program and Project Management Focused
MBA program.
Master of Health Administration (MHA)
The Master of Health Administration (MHA) is a graduate degree designed specifically for managers or
administrators in health services, health professionals who have managerial and administrative
responsibilities or who change their careers to become managers and administrators, as well as
for those managers who work in related fields such as health insurance and the pharmaceutical
industries.
Master of Public Administration (MPA)
The 11-course Master of Public Administration
(MPA) is a graduate degree designed specifically
for
managers
in public and nonprofit organizations.
Doctor
of Business Administration (DBA)
The DBA program requires the student
to complete a minimum of 60 semester credit-hours
at the doctoral level. In addition, students must
pass a qualifying exam and a comprehensive exam,
as well as writing and defending their proposal
and
dissertation.
Graduate Certificate
The Graduate Certificate in Project Management
program is designed to meet the needs of project
leaders and managers from the private and public
sectors. It consists of 7
courses that are designed for students who want
to improve their project management knowledge
and skills but do not have time to attend a full
degree program.
